Carl Girard, an Arizona native through and through, is the driving force behind Wild West Off-road Recovery. An avid off-roader, camper, and explorer, Carl knows the rugged Arizona landscape like the back of his hand, using his deep knowledge of the state to his advantage during recoveries. With a natural talent for mental mapping, Carl can navigate the toughest terrains and find the best routes to get stranded vehicles back on track.
In his younger years, Carl was an ASE-certified mechanic, and he brings a wealth of mechanical know-how to every recovery. His deep understanding of how vehicles function gives him the edge when it comes to planning and executing recoveries in the safest and most efficient way possible. Carl is also a proud husband and father to two adventurous boys, sharing his love of the outdoors with his family while ensuring every recovery is a success.

Meet Christina, the adventurous and unstoppable force behind Wild West Off-road Recovery! Born in California and raised in the Bay Area, Christina found her true love for the outdoors after moving to Arizona as a teen. Whether it’s tackling tricky terrain or helping out on the family business, Christina is always ready to roll up her sleeves and get things done.
Affectionately nicknamed “Ditch Girl” by her former coworkers—thanks to her fearless solo adventures—Christina is no stranger to a challenge. When she’s not busy lending a hand at Wild West, you’ll find her running her own successful business or escaping to the great outdoors for a little off-roading and camping. Christina’s “can-do” attitude and passion for adventure make her an invaluable part of the Wild West team, always ready for whatever the trail throws her way!

Carl is making waves as a rising star in the off-road mechanic world. As an up-and-coming mechanic at a local off-road shop, Carl takes on tough jobs with confidence, from complex repairs to keeping engines roaring. He also handles most of the repairs and maintenance for Wild West Off-road Recovery’s fleet, ensuring every recovery vehicle is in top condition and ready for action.
With a fearless attitude toward both mechanical challenges and off-road recoveries, Carl isn’t one to shy away from a difficult job. Whether he’s fixing up rigs in the shop or jumping into action out on the trails, Carl’s dedication and passion for off-roading are evident in everything he does. He’s the go-to guy for getting vehicles—and recoveries—back on track, no matter the terrain!
